 The Leatherature is quite simply the best ligature you will ever play.
Designed and hand-woven by our friend, Warren Cadwell, the Leatherature provides your reed and mouthpiece with a gentle yet firm contact; perfect for everything you want your set-up to provide. Made of woven leather, the Leatherature advances the concept of a string ligature by using superior material and an innovative woven design.
The leather will not stretch, a result of the ingenious weaving pattern which displaces tension in multiple directions, avoiding any stress on the leather. An amazing bonus feature for this ligature is that by grasping and applying equal pressure on the Leatherature, the mouthpiece can be removed without altering the placement of the reed—an excellent feature for quick changes between B-flat and A clarinet.
The Leatherature is available in B-flat, E-flat and Bass Clarinet sizes, with all saxophone sizes coming soon!
