Harry Langdon: Lost and FoundBen performs original soundtracks to 1920s era silent films, starring Harry Langdon. These DVD sets are out of publication, unfortunately. Sorry. I wish the publisher would re-issue these DVDs. Langdon, for my money, is the best silent film actor in US history. |
Samba JazzBossa Nova CD. This album is the product from Ben's doctoral studies. Ben assembled a band of the finest Washington, DC musicians to record a tribute album to the famous 1962 Jazz Samba album, featuring Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd. This album was recorded 50-years to the date after the original session, and on the same stage--Pierce Hall at the All Souls Unitarian Church in Washington, DC. |
